Add some color, flavor, and health benefits to your cauliflower with this tasty turmeric cauliflower recipe.


Cauliflower contains a variety of vitamins and minerals, and as a member of the cruciferous vegetable family, it aids the body’s natural detoxification process and provides cancer-protective benefits.

Turmeric is a bright yellow spice that’s shown antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties in various studies. In fact, it may be one of the most studied spices, with over 1,000 research studies on its effects, and counting.

Turmeric Cauliflower


6 cups (480g) cauliflower, chopped into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces

2 tsp. avocado oil or olive oil

1 tsp. turmeric powder

½ tsp. cumin powder

½ tsp. black pepper

¼ tsp. garlic powder

¼ tsp. cayenne powder (optional)

¼ tsp. salt


Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (218 degrees Celsius).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, toss the cauliflower with the oil and spices. Lay out on the baking sheet in a flat layer. Roast for 30-35 minutes until cauliflower is just starting to brown.
