Major Recall: Company Admits THIS Deadly Poison Is In Their Medication

Raritan Pharmaceuticals has recalled 3 types of children’s medicine due to unsafe levels of a key ingredient. Too much of this ingredient is dangerous and potentially deadly.

The medicines are:

1) CVS Kids Relief Homeopathic Ear Relief Oral Liquid
2) CVS Homeopathic Kids’ Ear Relief Liquid
3) CVS Homeopathic Infants’ Teething Tablets

The recall came after Raritan discovered a higher than recommended level of the ingredient Belladonna. Commonly known as nightshade, Belladonna is sometimes found in homeopathic or pharmaceutical products; however, in large doses, it can be toxic.

Children affected by Belladonna poisoning may experience seizures, difficulty breathing, lethargy, and sleepiness.

“The recall is a precautionary action,” said Sushant Pradhan, a Raritan Pharmaceuticals representative. He went on to claim that the recalled products only contain about a nanogram of belladonna, which “isn’t toxic to anybody.”

The only problem is, according to Pradhan, Raritan hasn’t yet seen the recent tests from the FDA.

In late September of this year, the FDA issued a warning that parents take caution in giving homeopathic teething tablets and gels to infants and children. Such brands included CVS, Hyland’s, and others, all of which are sold in retail stores and online.

What should you do?

If you have any of the medicines listed above, stop use immediately. If your child experiences any of these symptoms after taking these medicines, seek medical attention right away.

Thankfully, there are many natural alternatives in relieving issues such as teething and ear aches. For teething, you can apply gentle pressure to your baby’s gums to help ease the pain. A cold spoon also works wonders, as does a cold washcloth or any kind of frozen teething toy. For ear pain, you can use a warm compress or olive oil drops.
