These raw brownies are as easy as 1-2-3!  Who knew healthy treats could taste so amazing?

Not only can you make them in 10 minutes or less, but they actually contain ingredients that are good for you!

Walnuts: are exceptionally high in precious omega-3 fats! Walnuts are also a rich source of monounsaturated fat, an essential fat necessary for improving cardiovascular health and optimizing brain function.

Raw Cacao: this familiar treat is loaded with powerful antioxidants, minerals and essential fats. In the ORAC rating (antioxidant capacity), raw cacao powder is at the top of the antioxidant list with almost four times the amount of antioxidants as Goji Berries.

Dates: When it comes to the number of minerals, vitamins, and health-promoting phytonutrients in dates, suffice to say there are a lot of them! First and foremost, they are easily digested. They are an excellent source of easy to use energy, fibre, vitamins and minerals. Try using them in baking recipes instead of corn syrup or sugar.

Raw Brownies

Guiltless Raw Chocolate Brownies


1/4  cup raw pecans

1/4 cup raw walnuts

 4 Medjool dates

 1 tbsp raw organic cacao powder

1 tbsp raw organic cacao nibs

 2 tsp shredded coconut (unsweetened)

 2 tsp maple syrup or coconut nectar

 1/4 tsp sea salt


1-Place the pecans in food processor and blend until small and crumbly.

2-Add dates (be sure to remove the pits first) and process until the mixture sticks together and the dates are well processed.

3-Add the rest of the goodies and process again until the mixture turns a lovely dark chocolatey brown.

4-You can make cute little bite-sized brownie balls, or you can go the traditional brownie route and dump the mixture into a small dish and press down firmly using your clean hands.

5-Refrigerate for a couple of hours so they can firm up then it is time to enjoy!
