These antioxidant-rich berries also protect skin and collagen from free-radical damage that could result in lines or blemishes. (1)

Reduces belly fat: A 2009 animal study suggests that regular blueberry consumption may help reduce belly fat and chronic disease. For example, the study found that rats who ate a diet rich in blueberries lost abdominal fat and experienced other health benefits, such as lowered cholesterol and improved glucose control even if their diet wasn’t otherwise heart-healthy. Furthermore, researchers say the results suggest that antioxidant-rich blueberries may change how the body stores and processes glucose or sugar for energy, thereby reducing not only belly fat, but also the risk of both heart disease and diabetes (which is associated with belly fat). Blueberry Beauty Boost Smoothie


1 cup fresh/frozen organic blueberries

1/2 cup water or ice

1 orange


In a food processor or high speed blender, pour in 1 cup of fresh or frozen organic blueberries. Add half a cup of water or ice. Next, squeeze in the juice of 1 orange. Cover and process until smooth. Pour in a pretty glass to savor every sip.
