Probably when you’re thinking of a way to fill up your tummy while slimming down your waistline, radishes don’t jump to mind. But this radish salsa may do just that.

Slimming Radish Salsa will fill you up without filling you out. Radishes are a great addition to your diet if you’re trying to lose weight, as they are high in water content and contain flavonoids, plant chemicals that may play a role in weight loss and maintaining a healthy weight.

Radish Salsa Benefits

Radishes are high in water content, making them filling. Also, they are only about one calorie each.  You read that right: one (1) calorie! And they contain flavonoids, plant chemicals believed to play a role in weight loss and maintaining a healthy weight, according to scientists from Harvard University and the University of East Anglia. (1, 2)
