Get more flavor out of your sauteed greens! This sauteed spinach recipe is full of health benefits and tastes amazing – it’s perfect as a side or on its own.


Spinach is rich in nutrients and has been found to help reduce cholesterol, support the body’s natural detoxification process, and be a good source of calcium and magnesium to support bone health.

Pink salt, also known as Himalayan salt, is an unrefined salt that contains dozens of trace minerals.

Italian Sauteed Spinach

Yield 5-6 servings (as a side)


1 tsp. oil

1 clove garlic, diced

½ tsp. red pepper flakes, or more to taste

10 cups baby spinach

pink salt, to taste


Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the oil, then garlic and red pepper flakes. Let cook for a minute before adding the spinach. Cook, stirring occasionally, 3-5 minutes, until wilted.
