Body language can say a lot about who you are. Posture, micro-expressions around your eyes, and how you position your legs and arms are just part of the story your body tells. Your body gives other nonverbal cues about your personality, how you view yourself, and your mental state. It can signal to others if you’re friendly, confident, narcissistic or empathetic. So are you a narcissist or an empath?

Subconsciously or consciously, what you do with your body in public speaks a thousand words.

For example, your feet can communicate confidence or fear by the way you position them when you’re walking.  Next time you’re at a social gathering or a simple coffee date with a friend, pay attention to what your body does. Are you in the middle of the action, or standing on the sidelines? When you smile, is your mouth open and wide, or is it a simple curve of your lips?

Large stance? Quick, sharp movements? Those can be construed as narcissistic. And holding your head up in order to look down on others can come off as condescending. These and an abundance of other body signals all have a role in how you present yourself to the world.

So, what does your body language say about you? Are you a narcissist?
