Longevity Coffee® cacao powder is created from perfectly ripe cacao pods harvested from wild cacao trees grown in the jungles of Ecuador. The trees are a minimum of 30 years old, with some being over 80 years old! The cacao plants grow in mineral-rich, high-elevation volcanic soil and are nourished with rain water or deep mountain spring water. They are never irrigated from potentially contaminated rivers and streams and are not mixed or cultivated with the lesser quality CCN-51 cacao plants.
Purity and Processing
The purity of these beans results in a deep, intense, raw chocolate flavor. They are completely free of mycotoxins, molds, yeasts, and fungus, which are the cause of the jittery adrenal response you may have experienced with other raw chocolate products.*
When fully mature, the cacao pods are hand-picked and taken to a dedicated cacao processing facility. They are sun-dried and processed on custom artisan equipment that has never seen any cacao but our own. This insures there is no possible integration with lesser quality cacao or any cross contamination with other products.
