Mold is a lot more than just annoying little growth in your bathroom. It can actually pose significant risks to your health. You could wind up with nasal stuffiness, throat irritation, or even a severe allergic reaction. If so, you need to remove mold from your environment!

But there’s no sense in reaching for a harsh commercial cleaner to get rid of that mold. You’ll only wind up breathing in another harmful substance.

No, what you need is something natural. Today, I bring you two solutions.

The first? Tea tree oil.

Remove Mold Fast With Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea tree oil has traditionally been used as an antifungal and antiseptic treatment for everything from toenail fungus to acne.

It even works for strong types of mold. All you’ve gotta do is mix one teaspoon of tea tree oil with one cup of water. Put this mixture in a spray bottle and have a go at any mold-ridden areas in your home. Leave the liquid to work on the area for a while before wiping it off with a cloth.

Is your mold problem a bit on the larger side? The next solution is for you.

How To Use Vinegar To Remove Mold

While a small bottle of tea tree oil can get pricey (keep in mind, though, it does have a number of uses besides mold), a large bottle of distilled vinegar should cost you next to nothing.

And that’s something you’ll appreciate if you’ve just ripped open a wall and discovered a horde of fuzzy mold living there.

Vinegar is mildly acidic and kills up to 82% of all mold species. Attack the mold in full force by pouring straight vinegar into a spray bottle and having a go at any growth.

Let the vinegar sit for an hour and then wipe the surface with clean water. If the vinegar smell doesn’t go away after several hours, just place a bowl of lemon water around the area.
