My New Superfoods Book
Superfoods are vibrant, nutritionally dense foods that have recently become widely available and which offer tremendous dietary and healing potential. In this lively, illustrated overview, well-known raw-foods guru David Wolfe profiles delicious and incredibly nutritious plant products such as goji berries, hempseed, cacao beans (raw chocolate), maca, spirulina, bee products, and a host of others. As powerful sources of clean protein, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, good fats and oils, essential fatty and amino acids, and other nutrients, they represent a uniquely promising piece of the nutritional puzzle. Each superfood is described in detail, accompanied by easy and delicious recipes. This accessible guide presents persuasive arguments, based on sound science, for the pivotal role of superfoods in promoting nutritional excellence, health and well-being, beauty enhancement, sustainable agriculture, and the transformation of diet, lifestyle, and planet.

These things are so promising. I’ve learned of your interview with Bob and Kevin, and I can say these isn’t superficial. No, not at all.

I noticed that you mention goji berries as one of the superfoods. I am interested in your thoughts, comments on it’s nutritional value compared to ningxia wolfberries from Ningxia, China. I am a distributor of Young Living essential oils and supplements and want to order only the best products available. You can learn more and compare goji berries and ningxia wolfberries from the website: http://www.thejuicehealth.com. I respect your feedback and look forward to your thoughts.
Thank you for your time,
Donna

Hi David. I find your work so inspiring, but I’m looking for ways as a single parent on a tight budget to introduce this way of eating to a house full of adolescents who understand that what they eat is important but still love junk food! I have many mouths to feed, limited time and not much money. What are the most important ways to begin? Thank you! Cynthia

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer which has spread to my bones. As if that is not bad enough I also have arthritis in my fingers and very bad pains in my knees. I find it difficult to walk. Can you recommend some miracle foods that could help me. Thanking you. Catherine

David,
do you have, or could you compile an online test so I can find which superfoods would be most helpful to me personally? I find the superfoods to be costly and would like to start slowly.

If I’m taking all of the superfoods mentioned in your book, should i still be taking a multi vitamin and calcium supplement? And if I’m trying to lose weight is your super smoothie a good idea for me?

Hey David.
I am thinking about starting this raw food lifestyle but im finding it a little difficult as a college athlete. As an athlete we tend to burn tons of calories and since raw food has little calories where should most of my calories come from?

Hi David, in one of video presentations you mention something about gel that is released from cocoa tree bark and how it helps to reverse male pattern baldness.
Is there actually gel or cocoa tree bark commercially available? Is there additional information available on this type of treatment?

Is spirulina the best superfood for dementia for an 89 year old woman who is suffering from anxiety and depression? The 89 year old grandma ate organically and holistically until she was imprisoned in a nursing home. Has anyone had any success with spirulina for dementia, so that she is not poisoned with Celexa and Remeron. Please help. Merci.

I don’t think a raw food diet is right for everyone. It’s actually bad for some people. Check out Ayurvedic practices and check with your physician.

Im not into raw foods yet. I am practicing jordan Rubins Masker’s Diet. Maybe this a stupid question but can i still these super foods like The Marine Phytoplankton or the raw Maca and raw Cacao? I tend to eat 70% plant matter, cooked and raw with 30% quality sustainable sea foods, meats and poultry.I also use fermented dairy products as well as a fermented cod liver oil. Also high fat butter oil. And what about activator X? Anyway I hear you on Coast to Coast all the time. many thanks!

It is amazing how holistic health is often overlooked. It only makes sense that your body and well-being will reflect what you put into it. Your book is a huge asset in a world that is constantly moving towards a nutrient deprived diet. It is my belief that it will increase the quality of life for many- including myself. Thank you.
